I am a Licensed Professional Social Worker in the state of Arizona. I received my Master of Social Work from the Virginia Commonwealth University. My personal journey with grief, loss and anxiety led me to change careers to become a social worker and counselor. I combine my work experiences with my personal life experiences to bring a hopeful, optimistic, compassionate, respectful and collaborative approach to working with those clients whom I serve. I believe that we are all connected and that we learn and grow together toward our healing and wholeness. The stories of our lives teach and enrich our life journeys if we are open to them. I feel honored to walk beside my clients for a brief time and listen to their stories. |
The Daring WayRising Strong™ is a methodology (and curriculum) based on Brené Brown’s latest bestselling book. It is based on the simple physics of vulnerability: “If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall. Rising Strong is a book about what it takes to get back up and how owning our stories of struggle gives us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and the clearest path to a wholehearted life.”
The Daring Way™ is a highly interactive methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was developed to help men, women, and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver lives. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and a courage practice that transforms the way we live, love, parent, and lead. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings.
