Meet Carol, a Licensed Professional Social Worker based in Arizona, boasting a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Carol's personal journey through grief, loss, and anxiety led her to a transformative career shift into social work and counseling. Seamlessly blending professional expertise with personal insights, Carol fosters a hopeful, optimistic, and collaborative atmosphere for her clients. She fervently believes in the interconnectedness of humanity, viewing our collective journey towards healing and wholeness as a shared endeavor.

In her private practice, Carol specializes in supporting individuals and couples through grief, particularly those affected by pregnancy loss, stillbirths, and infant deaths. She is a member of The Center for Reproductive Mental Health, providing counseling and support to those navigating infertility and its associated grief.

Carol's therapeutic approach is interactive and tailored to each client's unique needs, drawing from a diverse range of techniques and therapies. She fosters a safe space for clients to explore their strengths and coping skills, guiding them towards personal growth and healing. Carol's areas of expertise include grief and loss, perinatal loss, infertility, postpartum depression and anxiety, end-of-life issues, chronic illness, life transitions, relationship struggles, LGBTQ issues, and mood disorders. With extensive clinical experience in various settings, including hospice care and LGBTQ-focused organizations, Carol brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her practice. She also incorporates mind-body relaxation techniques to help clients manage life's stresses effectively.

Carol is currently licensed in Arizona, Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, Florida, Minnesota, and Texas, enabling her to meet with clients virtually across these states.
